Y LOS NOMINADOS SON

Hoy en la mañana se anunciaron los nominados al Oscar de este año.
Como siempre, ha habido algunas sorpresas, unas para bien y otras para mal. Claro, esto lo digo sobre la base de lo que uno va leyendo acerca de las películas y sobre la temporada de premios y sobre lo que uno conoce y sus gustos porque, una vez más, nuestra vomitiva cartelera nos ha ofrecido hasta ahora una mínima porción de las películas que están involucradas en todo esto.
Por ejemplo, de las nominadas a mejor película (este año decidieron que ya no iban de todas maneras 10 nominadas y que iba a estar entre 5 y 10, al final han sido 9) solo hemos visto estrenada en nuestra cartelera: 2!!!!
Es decir, de estas:

"The Artist"
"The Descendants"
"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"
"Hugo"
"The Help"
"Midnight in Paris"
"Moneyball"
"The Tree of Life"
"War Horse"

Solo se han estrenado en el Perú Midnight in Paris y The Help. Es decir, la de Woody que la estrenaron porque ha sido un éxito en el mundo (además los distribuidores pudieron estrenar una anterior de Woody gracias a eso) y la que calculo debe ser la más lacrimógena, bonita y políticamente corrrecta de las 9, o sea, The Help.
Bueno, tienen un mes los distribuidores para tratar de estrenar la mayor cantidad posible.

Algunos comentarios:

- La sorpresa más grande, sin lugar a dudas, ha sido la inclusión de la vapuleada en toda la temporada de premios: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, una película de Stephen Daldry, con Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock y Max Von Sydow, nominado en mejor actor de reparto. Esas son sus dos nominaciones.

- Bien que haya entrado Malick como director y The Tree of Life como película.

- Una pena que Drive solo tenga una nominación, en montaje de sonido. Es de las pocas que he podido ver, obviamente no en el cine, y es una gran gran película.

- Bien por Rooney Mara y su nominación por The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, al parecer ha hecho un gran trabajo (aunque tenía un gran modelo en Noomi Rapace).

- Me da mucho gusto que hayan nominado al que para mí es uno de los mejorres actores de la historia y nunca había sido nominado: Gary Oldman. Lo malo es que han pagado pato Di Caprio, al actor que un día aprendió a actuar y que cada vez lo hace mejor y Fassbender por Shame.

- Lo de Demián Bichir realmente me sorprende. De hecho es un buen actor pero no sé por qué más me suena a tener un lado "exótico", de apertura. Un nuevo Bardem se asoma.

- Me alegra que hayan nominado a Jonah Hill, un grande.

- Grande Woody, metió a Midnight in Paris en película y el está nominado como director (después de muchos años) y como guionista.

- Paja que Bridesmaids, esta sí la estrenaron acá, tenga dos nominaciones: a mejor guion original, coescrito por Kristen Wiig, la protagonista, y a mejor actriz de reparto: Melissa McCarthy, que está genial. Justo reconocimiento para una comedia de "la factoría Appatow".
